Konica Minolta C226 series Error code"C-2A11,C-2A12,C-2A13,C-2A14"

When installing a new developer chip,copier reports any of the following error codes:C-2A11, C-2A12, C-2A13, C-2A14, or prompts "Imaging unit detection error", "Imaging unit installation error", or "Developing unit installation error".

It is mainly because of two reasons:

1. Fuse not blown: After installing the new chip, the device failed to burn the fuse on the chip, resulting in a failure to reset the page yield counter (initialization failure). 

2. Improper installation: The chip and device cables are not properly connected.

How to solve it:

1. Mandatory calibration: Open and close the front cover or side cover 2-3 times, or restart the device 2-3 times to trigger the automatic calibration fuse.

2. Replace the chip: If calibration fails, replace the imaging chip, especially checking the chip fuse status.

3. Operational verification: After the fuse is successfully tripped, the device will display "New imaging unit recognized."

After chip installed,error code showed:"C-2551,C-2553,C-2555,C-2557"or"C-2552,C-2554,C-2556,C-2558"

Error Analysis:

1. Toner powder supply aisle obstruction: Toner cartridge's toner powder outlet and the machine's powder entrance are not properly connected.

2. Sensor failure: The sensor is dirty or damaged, misdiagnosing a powder shortage.

Solution:

1. Check the powder supply channel;

2. Clean the powder outlet/inlet: Clean cartridge's toner outlet and the machine's powder inlet to ensure there is no clumping of toner.

3. Clean the powder inspect sensor: Wipe the sensor contacts with anhydrous alcohol.

4. Print test : After cleaning, print a document with high coverage to verify continuous and stable toner supply.

Required Operation: Perform carrier initialization after replacing the chip.

Purpose: Resets the developer chamber parameters to prevent errors caused by residual data.

Steps:

Step 1: Enter Maintenance Mode: On the main screen, click "Counter" → Click "Show Keypad" to bring up the numeric keypad → Press "Stop" → "00" → "Stop" → "01" to enter the password screen.

Step 2: Enter Password: Enter "9272" four times, then press "Confirm" to enter.

Step 3: Perform Initialization: Select "Image Processing Adjustment" → Click "Stabilizer" → Select "Initialize Image Stabilization" → Press "Start" to execute.

Step 4: Complete Reboot: Exit Maintenance Mode → Power off and restart the device.
